New Pre-Club

Finally, we can put an end to all the rumours circulating around our acquisition of an all new pre-club venue- It's now official, hot off the press and straight from the editors mouth!- From the first edition (sorry- 1st of November 2008), LUVELY will be holding its legendary pre-club party at our new venue- the NEWSROOM, a fitting name for the place to come if you want get all the latest up to date info on the club, as well as get into the groove before heading to up to Luvely itself!

First made famous in the early years at the CITY CAFE, before moving on to HABANA then more recently, at the WASH for the last three years, the official Luvely pre-club party will now be hosted at the Newsroom- a truly dedicated pre-club venue. With a monster sound-system, large bar, dance-floor, and plenty of luxurious nooks & crannies in which to socialise, all contained downstairs within a super-cool subterranean environment (so the DJ's can really pump up the volume) the Newsroom stands head & shoulders above any other comparable venue available in Edinburgh today.

If all that wasn't enough to tickle your fancy, then here's even more great news- there are sensational drinks promos too! Here's a freshly printed list of what's on offer-

The promo's are available from our opening time of 9pm right through to 11pm, and will be a permanent feature. If there are any alterations to these great promos then it'll only be to improve them further! -what better way to get into the Luvely spirit!! Although the pre-club doesn't open its doors until 9, the Newsroom is open all day, serving a great range of tapas and other tasty treats from the extensive menu (we know- we've run extensive trials!), making the Newsroom the perfect place to all meet up for a bite to eat before making a night of it.

As is traditional at the Luvely pre-club, half price passes & queue-jump cards will be available for those judged by the Luvely photographers to have made that extra effort with regards to the dress code too! The bash will be held as always on the first Saturday of the month prior to the opening of the club itself. And will remain open until 1am with Luvely reporters DEAN NEWTON & JON EDWARDS supplying the beats. Let's get the party started!
