November saw the advent of the Capital's first ever dedicated music awards, hosted by the enigmatic EDINBURGH ROCKS, and organised by COLLOSAL PROMOTIONS, in association with a selection of well known brands, including XILE CLOTHING.

The award ceremony was an invitation only, red carpet affair, centred around a formal dinner hosted at the CRAIGIE BIELD HOTEL with full coverage courtesy of MUSIC SCOTLAND TV, and was to be followed by a full on after show party- held at an undisclosed location.

The dinner was attended by promoters & representatives from all of the nominated parties, for a variety of awards, ranging from best newcomer DJ, right through to best club night, for which Luvely had been nominated, so we we’re absoloutly thrilled when it was announced by the presenter that Luvely had won the award, having received the majority of the online votes from the music loving fraternity.

Our very own Dean & Tommy took to the stage to accept the award on behalf of the Luvely crew, with a delighted Tommy being called back up for a second time to receive the award for Best Resident DJ. The night was finally topped off for us by the announcement that the LIQUIDROOM had taken the award for best venue, which for us was a triple celebration, and celebrate we did- at the after show party!

The party had attracted a huge amount of interest, and was inevitably sold out as a result, and with good reason- with most of Edinburgh’s top DJ’s playing, joined by some seriously good up & coming talent to play sets over three arenas, it was a ‘no brainer’ for those who had gained tickets, and were subsequently transported to the secret location via private coaches. They were not to be disappointed either- the party went with a massive bang, with even Tommy & Dean managing to complete their sets after a fair few Sambucas over the course of the night.

The Luvely crew would very much like to thank EVERYONE who took the time to not only nominate us for the Best Club award, but also vote for us too. It’s a huge honour to know that Luvely, together with its DJ’s and crew, are held in such high regard by so many… THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
